NEWDELHI – Arpana Agrawal and Smita Srivastava recently hosted a three -day event titled “Confluence 2017”, held at PHD chambers of Commerce and industry this event was solely dedicated to the women entrepreneurs and rural artisans of India and provided them with a platform to display their skills, exchange techniques, nd their views.

Mrs. Smita Shrivastav, from Confluence 2017 said “It’s a dream come true-a centralised platform that we aspired to create for wome enterpreneurship.Hunar ko haunsla is our undercurrent. Let there be light for those wish to soar higher.”
Mrs. Arpana Agarwal, from Confluence 2017 said that the vision was to create an elevated platform to unleash the talent and skills of budding entrepreneurs and rural artisans. Looms that had woven the most colourful pattern or hands that had crafted most eye-catching heritage are lying in shambles. Thinking about those neglected and unsung cottage industries reeling under such adverse situations,there is a need to reinvigorate them for sake of the potential they hold.
